Description
As a training coordinator, you will train and lead a team of hard-working and talented hourly entry-level associates who produce high-quality products for our customers. In this role you will have the opportunity to enter our leader/manager in training program. Schedule
Monday – Thursday 6:30am-5:00pm.
- When training needs arise on 2nd shift, your schedule will be 8:30am-7:00pm.
- Overtime will be scheduled as business needs arise.
Reporting
This position will report directly to the Operations Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead by example and inspire your team to achieve production goals and quality standards.
- Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and training to your team members on performance, safety, and compliance.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as productivity, efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Ensure that your team follows company policies, procedures, and regulations, as well as federal, state, and local laws.
- Identify and resolve issues and problems that affect the operation, such as equipment malfunctions, material shortages, or quality defects.
- Participate in and support continuous improvement initiatives and projects to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with other shift supervisors and leaders in the plant and across the organization.
- Must be willing to work on off shifts as needed.
- Other duties as required or assigned.
Required Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a diverse team of associates.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
- Strong math and comprehension skills
- Excellent work ethic and ability and interest to assume greater responsibility
