Job summary

Washington State Department of Social and Health Services' Adult Protective Services (APS) is seeking a Training and Compliance Specialist to design, deliver, and assess high-impact training that supports staff success and program compliance with APS policy, state law, and federal regulations.

You will serve as a subject matter expert, creating learning solutions for frontline staff and management statewide, and guiding training needs analysis to advance workforce development and ensure

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum years of experience in advanced program management principles and APS field
  • Master's degree with minimum years in APS and related program management
  • Combination of education and professional experience totaling at least nine years

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement training in APS policies and procedures
  • Facilitate and coordinate training across the state
  • Develop quality assurance measures to ensure statewide training compliance
  • Analyze training needs and create effective learning solutions
  • Plan and monitor training plans statewide for timely completion
  • Provide ongoing updates to training content to meet evolving requirements
