Job summary

GAS Energy Staffing LLC is seeking a Learning & Development Advisor to manage competency and training activities, ensuring accurate records and compliance with regulations. The role focuses on maintaining the Competency System, evaluating training effectiveness, and supporting stakeholders with training operations.

You will analyze competency data, coordinate with internal teams and clients, and supervise training delivery while upholding safety and policy standards in a contract environment.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in competency, training, or employee development.
• Ability to analyze data and explain findings to management.
• Adaptable to new technology, data processing, and mentoring.
• Intermediate Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer competency activities with staff and records.
• Ensure competency records comply with legislation.
• Review and update competency materials as business needs change.
• Maintain and develop the organization’s Competency System.
• Monitor deadlines and phases of the Competency System.
• Act as an Assessor and/or Verifier.
• Monitor, record, and analyze the effectiveness of training programs.
• Liaise with customers and internal departments to arrange training requirements.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Evaluate processes to optimize use of resources and equipment.
• Provide daily supervision of training, performance evaluation, and employee relations.
• Perform other work-related tasks and comply with policies.
• Provide logistical and administrative support for trainers.
• Travel as required by business demand.
