Job summary

RideCo On-Demand Transit is seeking a Training and Development Manager to drive training strategy, delivery, and change enablement for clients and partners. You will own educational content, onboarding, and knowledge management across the platform, collaborating with product, marketing, and implementation teams.

The role emphasizes client-facing delivery, internal knowledge sharing, and ongoing adoption of platform features, with significant travel across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or diploma in Education, Marketing, Communications, Public relations or equivalent degree.
• 5–10 years of experience in the Transit industry (trainer, delivery manager, operations or services manager).
• 1–5 years direct customer-facing experience in a technical software support role.
• Top-notch communicator with strong written/oral communication and presentation skills.
• Training materials development in a technical software related environment.
• Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly; proficient with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Training Strategy & Planning: Coordinate and develop role-based training strategies and implementation training plans aligned with project launch phases, operational readiness, and go-live dates.
• Deliver Training & Support Change Adoption: Facilitate technical in-person classroom, in-vehicle, and virtual training sessions; apply change management principles to support user readiness.
• Lead Change During New Service Launches: Oversee soft launches, identify knowledge gaps, and reinforce learning objectives; assist with stop vetting and siting analysis.
• Develop and Maintain Training & Change Enablement Materials: Create slide decks, job aids, guides, handouts, videos, and e-learning modules; develop self-serve modules.
• Champion Internal Knowledge Sharing & Change Readiness: Manage Confluence knowledge base; foster knowledge sharing across staff.
• Drive Customer Self-Service: Create client-facing support portal and step-by-step guides for dashboards and configuration tasks.
• Client-Facing Documentation for New Features: Produce clear documentation to support client understanding and integration.
• Contribute to Product Improvements: Share end-user feedback with Product team to improve usability.
• Support Marketing & Education Initiatives: Develop educational content for RideCo’s website describing platform benefits.
• Other duties and projects as assigned
