Job summary

Beyond SOF is seeking a Training Center / Lab Support System Administrator (SA2) in Fort Washington, MD. You will operate and maintain hardware and software per customer policies and provide user account management and help desk support for staff and students.

Candidates need a bachelor's or advanced degree in CS, information systems, engineering, or related field plus 10+ years of systems administration, or a HS diploma with 14 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related discipline plus 10+ years of systems admin experience.
• HS diploma or GED plus 14 years of systems admin experience allowed.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, including diagnostic and resolution of IT issues.
• Manage daily IT configuration and operation, including user accounts and workstations.
• Install and maintain computers and devices (tablets, laptops, desktops).
• Assist users in accessing IT systems and support dispatch processes.
• Configure and manage Linux, Unix, and Windows OS; install/load OS and troubleshoot.
