Consulting Solutions is seeking a Training and Workforce Program Manager to define strategic training initiatives that support workforce planning across multiple business units. You will manage budgets, coordinate resources, and lead efforts from initial design through delivery to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes aligned with business goals.

The role requires building leadership programs, applying ADDIE methodologies, and partnering with leaders to implement workforce strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or technical degree with a minimum of six (6) years of related experience.
  • High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of ten (10) years of related experience.
  • Ten+ years of related experience preferred.
  • Experience with instructional design and adult learning methodologies.
  • Knowledge of training development best practices and curriculum design.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert and program manager for training programs, including initial, continuing, and emerging training initiatives.
  • Manage program budgets and evaluate the financial impact of program changes.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop workforce strategies and incorporate organizational priorities into training programs.
  • Lead the ADDIE instructional design process to develop and implement training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and organizational leaders to establish strategic direction for learning and development programs.
  • Monitor business trends and organizational changes to identify impacts on workforce skills and training requirements.
  • Develop innovative solutions to address training gaps and improve program effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Communicate program updates and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Provide guidance and direction regarding training initiatives, project status, and program activities.

Job description

  • Hybrid work environment with a combination of remote and onsite work following the onboarding period.
  • Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the assigned office location.
  • Office environment with frequent meetings conducted in person and virtually.
  • Frequent travel to multiple business locations as needed.
  • Hybrid schedule requiring three days per week in the office.
Position Summary

The Training and Workforce Program Manager establishes the strategic direction for organizational training initiatives and workforce development programs. This role defines training strategies and programs that support workforce planning and operational objectives across multiple business units. The Program Manager serves as the project manager for various training initiatives, providing strategic input for current and future program development.

This position effectively plans, schedules, coordinates, and monitors training programs while negotiating resources as needed. The Program Manager ensures programs are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals and objectives. Responsibilities include monitoring project status, adjusting plans as necessary, making recommendations to leadership, and supporting the communication and implementation of project deliverables.

  • Experience with organizational change management.
  • Prior experience in training development, training delivery, instructional design, workforce development, or project/program management.
