Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication or equivalent education and experience.
  • Three years related experience with one year of training experience preferred.
  • Strong organization, analytical, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Microsoft Office, database, and content publishing skills.
  • Requires up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Content creation and training content to support business areas.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to produce job aids, work instructions, training courses, slide decks, bulletins, and shareable videos.
  • Communicate with leaders to integrate data/information and develop key messages for Knowledge Base incorporation.
  • Develop videos, graphics, and charts to communicate data and processes.
  • Organize and manage a user-friendly information system with indexing, workflow and publishing rules in collaboration with Business Systems.

Training and Knowledge Management Specialist Position Summary

Responsible to design, implement, maintain and improve a centralized Knowledge Base which will house key data, information, presentations and other resources to support enterprise knowledge management. Build and utilize strategic partnerships with business units across the Company to gather key data and information that relates to the department. Partner with leaders within the business areas to develop and deliver impactful communication tools and products. Gather and translate technical information/data into a format that is understandable and persuasive to the broad employee base as well as aids users in decision-making processes. Determines how best to store and display the information in a manner that is user friendly.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Content Creation & Training: Proactively develop communication and training content to support business areas.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to produce job aids, work instructions, training courses, slide decks, communication bulletins, and shareable or stream-able videos.
  • Communication: Partner with leaders to integrate data/information and develop key messages for Knowledge Base incorporation. Is resourceful in acquiring and translating technical information into a format that is understandable and persuasive to the broad employee base and assists users in the decision-making process.
  • Develops videos, graphics, and charts to communicate data and processes.
  • Information Management: Responsible for the development and organization of a user-friendly system for employees to retrieve and interpret data and information. Responsible for content management, information indexing, system workflow and rule publishing of how information should be presented. Partner with Business Systems to implement requirements in a user-friendly format.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $64,100.00 to $90,967.00 per year
