Job summary

Mitsubishi Chemical ALPOLIC is seeking a Training and Development Specialist to design and deliver technical training for a manufacturing facility. You will create manuals, presentations, and e-learning content while applying adult learning principles to improve performance.

You will administer the LMS, run onboarding for new hires, and ensure personnel attain required qualifications. Collaboration with supervisors will drive ongoing training improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in instructional design, education, training, or related field.
• Experience delivering training in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical training programs for manufacturing facility staff at all levels.
• Create manuals, presentations, e-learning modules, and multimedia training materials.
• Incorporate adult learning principles and instructional tech to improve effectiveness.
• Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps in knowledge and skills.
• Monitor and evaluate training and implement continuous improvements.
• Administer LMS for e-learning, testing, qualifications, and evaluations.
• Administer onboarding training for new hires and ensure smooth transitions.
• Ensure employees meet required qualifications and stay compliant.
• Use hands-on methods to develop a competent, well-trained workforce.
• Conduct retraining for non-compliant behaviors and SOP deviations.
• Review progress with Production Supervisors and Managers regularly.
• Develop 30/60/90-day benchmarks for trainee performance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for development and delivery of technical training programs for all levels of the manufacturing facility.
• Create instructional materials, including training manuals, presentations, e-learning modules, and other multimedia content.

• Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps in technical knowledge and skills.
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and make continuous improvements.
• Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) for e-learning, testing, qualifications, and evaluations.
• Conduct onboarding training for all new hires and facilitate smooth transition.
• Ensure employees complete appropriate qualifications for their positions.
• Develop a competent workforce with hands‑on training methods in the work area.
• Conduct retraining for employees exhibiting behaviors contrary to training or SOPs.
• Review progress reports with Production Supervisors and Managers regularly.
• Develop and complete 30, 60, and 90-day benchmarks for trainee performance and status.
