Hitachi Energy is seeking a Training & Development Leader to shape a culture of continuous learning within our manufacturing environment. You will design, deliver, and optimize programs that elevate employee capability, engagement, and performance across functions, partnering with Operations, HR, and leadership.

You will drive onboarding, development pathways, and training effectiveness while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Training & Development or a related field.
  • 4+ years designing, administering, and delivering training programs.
  • Experience in manufacturing and supporting a diverse workforce.
  • Knowledge of lean management and continuous improvement principles.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead and oversee training and development programs that enhance employee performance, engagement, and skills.
  • Partner with Operations, HR, leadership, and support functions to identify and implement learning improvements.

  • Manage and maintain training systems, records, and learning resources.
  • Develop training materials and support trainers in delivering engaging learning experiences using adult learning methodologies.
  • Evaluate current training practices and recommend innovative solutions that improve workforce capability and career development.
Your Background
  • Bachelor's degree in Training & Development, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience designing, administering, and delivering training programs.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment and supporting a diverse workforce.
  • Knowledge of lean management systems and continuous improvement principles.
  • Strong project management, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with instructional design methodologies, learning technologies, and performance-driven training solutions; certifications such as CPTD, CLDP, or CPLP are preferred.
