Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking a Sales Trainee to maximize the sale of lift trucks and Crown Insite products within a defined territory. You will develop existing accounts and seek new business while analyzing opportunities and building strong relationships with key personnel.

You will craft territory plans, develop sales strategies and proposals, and conduct product demonstrations and presentations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Less than 2 years related experience.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demos.
• Bachelor degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program preferred.
• Knowledge of the entire sales process.
• Strong communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Problem-solving capabilities with responsibility and self-motivation; ability to work in a team.
• Intermittent computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
• Ability and willingness to work outside normal business hours to prepare for sales activities.

Responsibilities

• Maximize the sale of lift trucks, Crown Insite products, and warehouse products within a specified territory to meet sales objectives.
• Develop existing accounts and seek new business.
• Analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, and develop strong business relationships.
• Consult and problem solve to enhance the Company's position in existing and target accounts.
• Develop a territory management plan to maximize time with customers.
• Develop sales strategies, proposals, and forecasts.
• Develop and conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations.
• Utilize online resources to maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, and sales activity information.
• Participate in initial and ongoing training programs both locally and at the New Bremen, Ohio corporate headquarters.
