Job summary

Lift Schools invites aspiring Computing teachers to join a school-based Initial Teacher Training programme. You will train on the Apprenticeship route, earning while you learn, and work toward a PGCE and QTS under expert guidance.

The program combines two-week Summer School, regular mentoring, and weekly training, with nationwide trainee networks across Lift Schools. Fees are covered on the Apprenticeship route.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with 2:2 or higher by program start (computing preferred).
• GCSEs: English and Mathematics at grade C or above.
• Right to live and work in the UK for the training year.
• Must not currently hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Responsibilities

• Gain practical classroom experience as you train to become a Computing teacher.
• Receive mentorship from experienced teachers and in-school coaches.
• Train via weekly sessions and focused modules across the year.

Education

Bachelor's degree or 2:2

Computing degree preferred

A-Level in Computing (Grade C or above)
