Job summary

Clarkfield Care Center is seeking a Trained Medication Aide (TMA) to lead care delivery and administer medications per center policy. The role requires TMA course completion and passing TMA skills, with English reading/writing required.

You will work with nursing leadership to ensure quality resident care and accurate documentation. Base pay is $22.60–$23.60 per hour with a $2.50 evening shift differential.

Qualifications

• TMA course completion is required.
• Must have TMA skills and be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must understand and use Standard Precautions.

Responsibilities

• Receive report from nurse on duty and relay resident condition and orders.
• Administer, prepare and chart medications per policies (oral, topical, ocular, etc.).
• Administer PRN meds after nurse consultation and document accordingly.
• Perform resident treatments as trained and make rounds with the team.
• Notify nurse of needs for supplies and monitor residents per plan of care.
• Maintain med room cleanliness and relabel any illegible labels as needed.
• Assist in dining room during mealtimes and ensure timely documentation.
