Job summary

Sheridan is hiring a Manufacturing Associate – Finishing/Bindery (We’ll Train You!) for the daytime shift 7a–7p. No bindery experience is required; we’ll train you to run high-speed bindery equipment and contribute to the production of books, catalogs, and printed materials.

You will feed signatures into machines, pack books into cartons, inspect quality, and work safely as part of a team to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience operating machinery in manufacturing, warehouse, or trades.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety rules.
• Basic math and ability to use measuring tools.
• Mechanical aptitude; able to use basic hand tools.
• Reliable and works well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Feed books/signatures into machines and pack books into cartons.
• Move materials safely and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Perform hand operations as required and hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products for quality and safety.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in a team setting.
