Job summary

Xanterra Travel Collection is hiring a Train Prep Kitchen Supervisor for the Grand Canyon Railway in Williams, AZ. This full-time, year-round role pays $19.85 per hour and requires enforcing food safety standards, managing the prep kitchen team, and ensuring high-quality guest meals for train service.

Qualifications

• Two years supervisory or lead cook experience in a medium volume kitchen facility.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with F&B Managers is a plus.
• Having Serv Safe Manager certification and County Health manager course is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enforces all Xanterra GC Railway standards, policies, procedures, and environmental standards.
• Directs staff with clear instructions at the start of shift and maintains morale.
• Maintains daily temperature logs.
• Ensures trays for train food are consistent, fresh, and appealing for guests.
• Communicates with Chef, Managers, F&B Director, Train Ops and Warehouse Manager.
