Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform trailer switches by hooking and moving trailers between yard and doors.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management or control staff.
• Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Demonstrate safe yard switching procedures and safety compliance.
• Assist with package handling duties as needed: load/unload, sort, and transport packages.
