Qualifications

• Ability to use basic tools and equipment such as hand-held scanners, dock carts and unloading devices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; works well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers to and from unload/load doors and yard.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management or central control.
• Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Assist with Package Handler duties as needed (hand-to-surface handling, loading and unloading packages).
