Job summary

ALCOM is hiring a Material Handler in Sioux Falls, SD. You will manage receiving, storing, and moving materials across the factory, warehouse, and stockroom, and assist production as needed. A forklift operator may be required, and accurate recordkeeping is essential.

Primary duties include pulling and replenishing items, packaging for storage or production, and loading/unloading pallets. You will support safe practices and cross-train in warehouse functions while seeking efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification preferred or forklift training provided.
• Ability to work with inventory systems and MS-Office.
• Strong attention to accuracy and memory.
• Dependable with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pull/replenish parts and raw materials and deliver to needed areas.
• Wraps/unpacks materials and prepares storage or production items.
• Load/unload pallets and shipments from trucks.
• Record transactions and identify material locations accurately.
• Maintain safe practices and assist with stockroom operations.
• Cross-train and support warehouse activities; suggest efficiency improvements.
