Job summary

FleetPride, the largest after-market distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S., is seeking a Trailer Technician to repair trailers and perform chassis repairs including brake jobs, welding, cutting with a torch, and replacing parts on the chassis using standard repair tools.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, pass background and drug tests, and work in indoor/outdoor environments at FleetPride locations, with primary operations based in Irving, TX.

Qualifications

• Welding experience is preferred.
• Carpentry fabrication skills are a plus.
• Commitment to safety and physical capability required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, repairs, builds and rebuilds all parts of trailer equipment.
• Maintains and inspects equipment; troubleshoots as needed.
• Tests equipment for proper operation and performs brake jobs.
