Job summary

FleetPride is the largest after-market distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S. The Trailer Technician will repair trailers and perform all types of chassis repairs, including brake jobs, welding, torch work, and replacing parts on the chassis.

Work involves inside and outside environments with lifting requirements and a background/drug test. FleetPride is headquartered in Irving, TX, with a nationwide presence and a focus on tailored solutions for customer needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Vocational certificate or equivalent work experience.
• Welding experience is a plus during trailer repair work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, repairs, builds and rebuilds all parts of trailer equipment.
• Performs maintenance, troubleshoots and inspects equipment.
• Test equipment for proper operation.
• Brake jobs.
• Suspension work.

Trailer Technician will repair trailers and perform all types of chassis repairs including brake jobs, welding, cutting with a torch and repairing and replacing parts on the chassis using standard repair tools. Some minor container repairs, patches, door latches and hinges type of work.

• Performs Maintenance, Troubleshoots and inspects equipment
• Test equipment for proper operations
• Brake Jobs

EDUCATION & TRAINING

• High School Diploma
• Vocational certificate or work experience

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Carpentry fabrication and welding are a plus
• Welding experience

SKILLS & ABILITIES
