TEN (Transportation Equipment Network) is seeking an experienced Trailer Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of trailers, including dry vans, reefers, flatbeds, and utility units. The role requires strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and structural repair skills while ensuring DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Trailer Technician, Trailer Mechanic, Diesel Technician, Fleet Technician, or similar mechanical role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands‑on experience in trailer repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of brake systems, suspension systems, hydraulics, electrical systems, and DOT requirements.
• Ability to use shop tools, diagnostic equipment, and welding/fabrication tools.
• Ability to lift, move, and work with heavy equipment and trailer components.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to a safe work environment and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues on trailers.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and routine trailer servicing.
• Repair or replace brake systems, suspensions, axles, landing gear, and wheel-end components.
• Troubleshoot and repair lighting systems, wiring, and electrical components.
• Complete frame, body, and structural repairs, including welding and fabrication.
• Conduct DOT inspections and ensure work meets regulatory standards.
• Document all repairs and maintain accurate work orders.
