Job summary

FleetPride in the United States is seeking a Trailer Technician to repair trailers and perform chassis work, including brake jobs, welding, cutting with a torch, and door latches repair.

You will diagnose, repair, maintain, and test equipment, and complete other duties as assigned. The job offers a pay range of $17.00–$46.00 per hour based on experience, with monthly bonuses and full benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; vocational certificate or relevant work experience accepted.
• Welding experience is preferred; carpentry fabrication helps.
• Experience with trailer chassis repair is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, repairs, builds and rebuilds trailer equipment.
• Performs maintenance, trouble-shoots and inspects equipment.
• Tests equipment for proper operations.
• Brake jobs and suspension work.
• Other duties as assigned.

General Job Description

Trailer Technician will repair trailers and perform all types of chassis repairs including brake jobs, welding, cutting with a torch and repairing and replacing parts on the chassis using standard repair tools. Some minor container repairs, patches, door latches and hinges type of work.

The annualized pay ranges vary based on work location. The salary range for this position is $17.00 – $46.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Additional Compensation: This position may be eligible for monthly bonuses.
