Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Trailer Technician to repair trailers and perform chassis work across our service network. The role includes brake jobs, welding, and component replacement, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

You will operate in a hands-on environment, using standard repair tools and diagnostic software, with training provided and promotions based on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational certificate, or equivalent work experience.
• Welding experience and carpentry fabrication is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work.
• Willingness to pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild trailer equipment components.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshoot, and inspect equipment.
• Test equipment for proper operation.
• Complete brake jobs.
• Work with suspension systems.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Trailer Technician will repair trailers and perform all types of chassis repairs including brake jobs, welding, cutting with a torch and repairing and replacing parts on the chassis using standard repair tools. Some minor container repairs, patches, door latches and hinges type of work.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

High School Diploma Vocational certificate or work experience

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Carpentry fabrication and welding are a plus Welding experience
