FleetPride is the largest after-market distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S. We are seeking a Trailer Technician in Minnesota to repair trailers and perform chassis work, including welding, brake jobs, door latches, and related tasks.

The role involves diagnosing and repairing all trailer components, with emphasis on safety and quality. This position may require working indoors and outdoors, with pay ranging from $20 to $30 per hour depending on experience and

Formación

• High School Diploma required; vocational certificate or work experience beneficial.
• Welding and carpentry fabrication experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass background and drug test.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnoses, repairs, builds and rebuilds trailer equipment.
• Performs maintenance, troubleshooting and inspections.
• Conducts brake jobs, suspension work, and other chassis repairs.
• Test equipment for proper operation as part of service.
• Work both indoors and outdoors as required.

Trailer Technician will repair trailers and perform all types of chassis repairs including brake jobs, welding, cutting with a torch and repairing and replacing parts on the chassis using standard repair tools. Some minor container repairs, patches, door latches and hinges type of work.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnoses, repairs, builds and rebuilds all parts of trailer equipment
• Performs Maintenance, Troubleshoots and inspects equipment
• Test equipment for proper operations
• Brake Jobs
• Suspension
• Other job duties

EDUCATION & TRAINING

• High School Diploma
• Vocational certificate or work experience

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Carpentry fabrication and welding are a plus
• Welding experience

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Maintain safe working environment
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Pass background and drug test

WORKING CONDITIONS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Inside and outside environment

Pay Statement

The annualized pay ranges vary based on work location. The salary range for this position is $20-30 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Additional Compensation: This position may be eligible for monthly bonuses/commissions.
