TEC Equipment in Sparks, NV seeks an experienced trailer technician to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose, and repair semi-trailers across the TEC network. You will conduct inspections, identify worn components, and document services to ensure top‑quality repairs.

The role requires own hand tools, strong troubleshooting skills with diagnostic software, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

2-5 years of experience working on trailers.
Must have own hand tools.
Proficient with diagnostic software to troubleshoot and repair trailers.
Ability to input vehicle maintenance records accurately.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to troubleshoot issues and repair vehicle to proper operating condition.
Troubleshoot and perform complex wiring repairs and diagnose and repair electrical issues.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance services and replace worn parts as needed.
Maintain safe and organized work area and meet shop quality standards.
Maintain vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.
