Qualifications

• 2–5 years working on trailers.
• Must have own hand tools.
• High expertise troubleshooting with diagnostic software.
• Proficient in inputting vehicle maintenance records and using diagnostic tools.
• Physically able to lift/move up to 50 lbs; climb and kneel as needed.
• CDL license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose issues to repair trailers.
• Perform advanced repairs and replace major components.
• Rebuild or repair transmissions and major components.
• Engine overhauls: heads, rods, bearings.
• Troubleshoot wiring and electronic issues.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
• Identify worn parts and repair/replace as needed.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Meet shop quality and efficiency standards.
• Maintain service records for vehicles.
• Follow state/federal vehicle requirements and safety regulations.
• Use all required safety equipment.
• Continue learning through training and publications.
• Verify vehicle performance with test drives.
