Job summary

TEC Equipment is seeking a skilled trailer technician to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair semi-trailers across our network. You will conduct inspections, troubleshoot wiring and electronic systems, and maintain accurate service records.

The role requires 2–5 years of trailer experience, own hand tools, and strong diagnostic software skills. A valid driver’s license is needed. Base pay ranges from $21.68 to $27.10 per hour, with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years working on trailers.
• Must have own hand tools.
• High expertise in troubleshooting using diagnostic software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to troubleshoot issues and repair trailers.
• Troubleshoot and perform complex wiring repairs and diagnose electronic issues.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance and replace worn parts as needed.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area and meet shop quality standards.
• Maintain vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.
• Remove and replace main structural components of a trailer when required.
