Job summary

Marten Transport is seeking a skilled maintenance technician in Clarksville, AR to perform in-house repairs on fleet equipment. You will diagnose and repair, rebuild components, and conduct preventive maintenance to ensure uptime.

The role requires the ability to lift heavy objects, work various shifts, and endure extreme climates. A high school diploma with one year of post-high school training or two+ years of tractor maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Education with one year post high school training preferred or two plus years’ experience in tractor maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proficiency in the diagnosis and repair of all equipment.
• Maintain proficiency in rebuilding components on equipment.
• Effectively and efficiently perform preventive maintenance inspections.
• Complete all Repair Orders in a timely manner ensuring all labor and parts are charged to the appropriate unit.
• Attend all company-training classes, then retain and demonstrate what was instructed.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the work area.
• Performs additional duties and special projects as needed.
• Return all unused parts to the parts room.
• Other duties as assigned.
