Job summary

Marten Transport is seeking a skilled maintenance technician in Indiana to service our fleet. You will diagnose, repair, and rebuild components, and perform routine preventive maintenance to keep tractors and trailers on the road safely and efficiently.

The role requires the ability to lift heavy parts, work across shifts, and follow company procedures. You will contribute to a clean, organized shop, complete accurate repair orders, and participate in training to stay current with equipment

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; post-high school training preferred or 2+ years’ tractor maintenance experience.
• Must possess mechanical skills and aptitude for the position.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair all equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections.
• Complete Repair Orders with accurate labor and parts.
• Attend company training and apply what was learned.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Return unused parts to the parts room.
• Other duties as assigned.
