Job summary

Marten Transport in Texas is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to diagnose and repair fleet equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, rebuild components, and ensure accurate labor and parts are charged to units.

The role requires high school education with post-secondary training or 2+ years of tractor maintenance experience, and includes full benefits and a tool/boot allowance. Training attendance is expected and essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess mechanical skills and aptitude.
• Experience with diesel tractor maintenance preferred.
• Able to read repair manuals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment.
• Rebuild components on equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections.
• Complete repair orders with accurate labor and parts.
• Attend and apply training received.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Accept additional duties and special projects.
• Return unused parts to the parts room.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.
