Job summary

Paragon Fleet Maintenance Group within Stevens Transport is seeking a Trailer Technician to perform preventative maintenance on trailers and refrigeration units.

You will diagnose and repair brakes, suspensions, lights and wiring, foam refrigerated trailers, and maintain a clean, organized shop in compliance with DOT standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of trailer technician experience.
• Able to read and understand operating manuals, service manuals and written instruction.
• Valid Class C driver's license.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Basic math calculations.
• Working knowledge of telematics systems and diagnostic software. Basic computer skills required.
• Basic Tools set for job functions.

Responsibilities

• Performing scheduled and non-routine repairs to meet DOT standards.

Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: We are currently seeking a Trailer Technician who is responsible for completing preventative maintenance on our trailers and refrigeration units.

Physical Demands

Work Experience

2+ years of trailer technician experience
