The Trailer Technician role performs diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs on dry vans, reefers, flatbeds, and more, ensuring DOT compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience as a trailer technician or diesel/fleet technician.
• Hands-on experience with trailer repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of brake, suspension, hydraulics, electrical systems, and DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues on trailers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine trailer servicing.
• Repair or replace brake systems, suspensions, axles, landing gear, and wheel-end components.
• Troubleshoot and repair lighting systems, wiring, and electrical components.
• Complete frame, body, and structural repairs, including welding and fabrication.
• Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance with standards.
