Job summary

This full-time trainee position offers hands-on learning in air brake systems, FHWA inspections, and general trailer repairs under supervision. It may involve outdoor work and multiple shifts, including nights or weekends, and overtime as needed.

You will gain foundational skills, follow shop rules, and progress toward independent repair tasks while meeting safety standards and company requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Willingness to work across multiple shifts, including nights/weekends if needed.
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Shadow a senior technician to learn repairs per specifications and standard repair times.
• Follow all shop safety procedures and communicate professionally with staff and customers.
• Train in preventative maintenance and air brake systems and FHWA inspections.
• Handle routine repairs and component replacements as skills develop.
