Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with 2 years of experience in semi-trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience with DOT inspections, FHWA inspections, and air brakes.
• Able to supply your own basic tools or use toolbox purchase program.
• Willingness to work outdoors and across multiple shifts including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of preventative maintenance and standard repairs on trailer equipment (fuel systems, batteries, engines, drive trains, air brake systems).
• Troubleshoot trailer issues and perform intermediate repairs to company and manufacturer specifications; complete work orders and use SRT and warranty guidelines.
• Assist with onboarding and mentorship of trailer technician trainees.
• Participate in Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) trainings for OE repairs.
• Maintain strict adherence to shop safety procedures.
