J.B. Hunt in Pittston, PA is seeking a Trailer Technician Trainee to gain foundational skills in air brake systems, shop safety, and standard repairs under close supervision.

You will shadow experienced technicians, learn to follow manufacturer specs, and complete routine work orders while building hands-on proficiency. This full-time role may involve outdoor work, varying shifts (nights/weekends), and overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to supply basic tools or purchase through toolbox program.
• Willingness to work outdoors in the elements and across multiple shifts.
• Proficient computer skills; comfortable with Office suite.

Responsabilités

• Shadow a senior technician to learn repairs per company and manufacturer specs.
• Follow shop safety procedures and maintain professional communication with staff and customers.
• Train to perform routine preventative maintenance, part replacement, and basic repairs on air brake systems and FHWA inspections.
