Custom Truck Equipment is looking to hire a Trailer Technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and DOT Inspections on trailers, trucks/vehicles, and related equipment
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, disassemble vehicles and examine parts for defects and excessive wear
• Perform repair and customization work as assigned including routine maintenance, brake replacement/repair, suspension repair, electrical and pneumatic and hydraulic component troubleshooting and repair, trailer body repair including complete trailer rebuild
• Provide after-sale services, such as component installation
• Performs some fabricating, welding (stick, wire feed, braze, solder) cutting (gas, plasma, saws) riveting, and fiberglass repair
• Good communication skills with the service manager, service writer and customers about jobs in progress
• Someone who is driven to work efficiently and safely to provide the best service
• CDL is a plus, but not required
• Valid DL with good driving record
