Job summary

NFI is hiring a Diesel Mechanic to service and repair our dedicated fleet in a shop environment. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical tractor/trailer issues and perform preventive maintenance using diagnostic tools and Windows-based software.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and preferably a Class A license.
• Technical or advanced degree or 2+ years of maintenance experience.
• Familiar with diagnostic tools such as JPRO, OEM software, multimeters and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on a fleet of tractors and trailers.
• Conduct DOT inspections per FMCSA guidelines and ensure safety.
