Job Overview

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, rebuilds, and component replacements as a Trailer Technician in Sterling, IL. Work on company trailers.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance to trailers, such as tire changes, minor electrical repairs, and greasing.
• Use maintenance software to create and track work orders.
• Communicate status updates with internal customers.

Skills and Qualifications

• Technical degree in welding, electronics, or related systems, or a minimum of 1 year of trailer technician experience.
• Basic welding skills preferred.
• Experience with computer systems and diagnostic software.
• Ability to provide recommendations regarding maintenance and repair decisions.
• Own tools required within 30 days of hire.

Work schedule: Full-time, Monday-Wednesday, and every other weekend, 10:00 P.M. - 8:30 A.M. The wage includes additional pay for hours worked after 15:00 and during weekends, with specific shift differentials.
