Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking a skilled Trailer Technician in Irving, TX. You will diagnose and repair issues on tractors and trailers, perform preventative maintenance, and document repairs. This is a safety-sensitive role with focus on brakes, electricals, wheels, and door systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; certificate/training in mechanics preferred.
• 1+ year of professional trailer technician experience preferred.
• Knowledge of air brakes, hydraulics, electrical, and ABS brake systems.
• Strong Interpersonal, organizational, logistics and math skills; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues on tractors-trailers.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and equipment.
• Test equipment and systems for performance.
• Repair brakes, electrical systems, wheel ends, and door panels as needed.
