The Trailer Technician is a safety sensitive role that will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailers and equipment while working safely and efficiently. This may include but is not limited to doors, floors, DOT inspections, wheel end services, and electrical diagnosis.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIESDiagnose and repair issues on tractor-trailers.Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.Test equipment and systems for performance.Perform repairs to brakes, electrical systems, wheel end service, wall panels, etc.Document repairs.Establish and maintain good working relationships with employees and vendors.Other duties as assigned.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or GED certificate.
