Job summary

Schneider in Columbus, OH is seeking a Trailer Technician for second shift (Mon-Fri 4:00 p.m.–12:30 a.m.). You will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and component replacements on company trailers, and use maintenance software to track work orders.

The role requires a tech degree in welding/electronics or at least 1 year of trailer technician experience, basic welding skills, and proficiency with computer diagnostic software; you must provide your own tools within 30 days.

Job overview:

• Communicate status updates with internal customers.

Skills and qualifications:

• Technical degree in welding, electronics, or related systems, or a minimum of 1 year of trailer technician experience.
• Basic welding skills preferred.
• Computer systems and diagnostic software experience.
• Able to provide recommendations regarding maintenance and repair decisions.
• Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.
