Job summary

CENTRAL TRANSPORT LLC is seeking skilled mechanics to support our large LTL fleet. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair trailers and equipment across the United States and Canada, ensuring reliability and uptime.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience, own a basic tool kit, and ASE certification is preferred but not required. We offer industry-leading pay, training, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience
• Basic set of tools
• ASE certification preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services
• Repair trailers and related equipment in a timely and efficient manner
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper working condition
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
• Responsible for repairing damage to containers, trailers, and chassis
• Repairing tears on the sides of containers
• Replacing lights
• Tire repair
• Landing gear repair
• Frame repair
