Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Shop Trailer Mechanic I for an on-site shop role in Worcester, MA. You will perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light-to-mid repairs on trailers, with opportunities to learn advanced skills under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, related field experience preferred.
• Ownership of hand tools and ability to perform required duties.
• OEM training and certifications preferred but not required.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations and pre-employment background checks applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PMs for light, medium and heavy trailers.
• Assist in aluminum/chem-lite work and trailer brake systems.
• Utilize hand and trailer tools with safe, accurate repairs.
• Document work on Repair Orders and upload RO photos.
• Maintain a clean, safe shop environment and support the team.
