Job summary

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair in San Bernardino, CA is seeking a Trailer Mechanic Trainee to learn a hands-on trade repairing semi-trailers in outdoor conditions. Prior wrenching experience is preferred but not required; mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic are valued.

We offer paid on-the-job training, a service truck and tools, full-time year-round outdoor work, and benefits after 90 days. Starting pay is $18-$21/hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with a Trailer Mechanic.
• Help perform repairs and maintenance on semi-trailers while keeping DOT compliance.
• Brakes, tires/wheel service, electrical work and fabrication are included in tasks.

We are currently looking to expand our team in the San Bernardino, CA area. We are seeking a Trailer Mechanic Trainee to help perform repairs and maintenance on semi-trailers.

About the Job

A successful Trailer Mechanic Trainee candidate is someone who's mechanically inclined, who's a hard worker, enjoys working outside, enjoys working with their hands, and is looking to learn a trade in a dynamic field. Professional experience is not a requirement but previous wrenching experience is strongly preferred.
