Job summary

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair in the San Bernardino area is seeking a Trailer Mechanic Trainee to help perform repairs and maintenance on semi-trailers. You’ll be mechanically inclined, hardworking, and eager to learn a trade in a dynamic field.

Starting pay is $18-$21 per hour, with experience-based progression, paid holidays, tools supplied, and opportunities for advancement. RSS promotes from within and offers a 401K after 1 year.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to pass a Drug Screen.
• Ability to lift 50lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with a Trailer Mechanic.
• Help perform repairs and maintenance on semi-trailers - keeping trailers in compliance with DOT safety standards.
• Essential tasks will include changing brakes, tires/wheel service, electrical work and fabrication.

We are currently looking to expand our team in the San Bernardino, CA area. We are seeking a Trailer Mechanic Trainee to help perform repairs and maintenance on semi-trailers.

About the Job

A successful Trailer Mechanic Trainee candidate is someone who's mechanically inclined, who's a hard worker, enjoys working outside, enjoys working with their hands, and is looking to learn a trade in a dynamic field. Professional experience is not a requirement but previous wrenching experience is strongly preferred.
