Job summary

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair in Patterson, CA is seeking an experienced Mobile Trailer Mechanic. The role requires expert knowledge as a Trailer Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic, with strong diagnostics and repair skills for semi-trailers.

You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance while communicating effectively with customers and co-workers. This outdoor, mobile position offers daytime hours, competitive pay, and benefits including a 401(k) after 1 year; overtime after 40 hours;

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a Trailer Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic.
• Strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair.
• Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers clearly.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts (ABS, frame, body, doors, tires, electrical).
• Operate the mobile service truck safely and professionally.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers.

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is a growing powerhouse in the Trucking Industry. RSS has been in business for over 32 years, and has nearly 400 team members located in 17 states! We are currently looking to expand our team in the Patterson, CA area.

About the Job

A successful candidate for this position must be an experienced Mobile Trailer Mechanic or an experienced Diesel Mechanic with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated, safety-minded, and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.

Benefits

• $24-$30/hour – commensurate with experience.


• Quarterly Safety & Performance Bonuses after 90 days.


• Monday-Friday – DAYS!

• Overtime after 40 hours. Bi-weekly paychecks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.


• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.


• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including but not limited to: ABS, frame, body, doors, tires and electrical systems.


• Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service.


• Maintain positive working relationships with customers.


• Properly operate the mobile Service Truck.


• Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck.

Requirements

• ++Must have++experience as a Trailer Mechanic++++.


• Outdoor, mobile service truck position.


• Valid Driver's License.


• Ability to pass a DOT physical and Drug Screen.


• Ability to lift 50lbs.
