Position Summary:

Perform DOT and preventive maintenance inspections on trailers, repair or replace damaged parts, and ensure all work is completed efficiently. Maintain accurate records of all work performed.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify necessary repairs in mechanical, electrical, or other areas to meet customer expectations
• Perform DOT and PM inspections
• Diagnose and repair foundation brake systems and air systems
• Weld and fabricate steel and aluminum components
• Repair electrical systems, wiring, lighting, ABS, etc.
• Assist customers on service calls
• Complete all related forms, timecards, and parts requests accurately
• Represent Quality Truck Care Center professionally and courteously
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
