Location: Northeast Region. May consider qualified applicants from other areas. 100% Remote with nearly 100% domestic business travel
Reports to: Service Manager
Standard Schedule: Monday – Friday, with hours varying; must be able to work weekends, early mornings, and some evenings
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly
Compensation: $27 - $46 per hour
Job Responsibilities: The Service Technician–Mechanic travels to customer locations to install, maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and printing issues for Koenig & Bauer printing presses. The technician interacts directly with customers, listening to their needs and asking probing questions to prepare for installations or service calls. Effective communication of technical information and resolutions to customers with varying technical knowledge is essential. The technician must develop a plan of action to address customer issues, emphasizing quality work (fix it right the first time), efficiency to minimize downtime, and cost control.
