Responsibilities

• Evaluate status of mechanical equipment and trailers.
• Maintain equipment according to DOT regulations.
• Perform minor trailer repairs.
• Perform tire mounting/dismounting and repairs.
• Perform minor cosmetic repairs.
• Conduct inspections to determine maintenance or replacement needs.
• Maintain regular attendance and keep tools organized.
• Operate diagnostic instruments and a variety of hand, electric, and air-driven tools.
• Keep shop and tools clean and in good working order.
• Enter data in Maintenance Software to track repairs.
