Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Trailer Mechanic at our Seattle, WA Service Center to diagnose, repair and maintain trailers. You will perform safety inspections, interpret manuals, and ensure repairs meet manufacturer specs and FMCSA regulations.

The role offers full-time hours Monday–Friday with various shifts, and benefits including insurance, 401(k), paid vacation, and access to our exclusive employee resorts.

Qualifications

• Experience performing safety inspections and FMCSA compliant documentation.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Experience in repairing or replacing defective parts or systems.
• Testing equipment to meet specs and regulations.
• Experience with trailer PMs and repair work.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and own essential tools.
• Reliable, dependable and able to work in varying climates.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain trailers at the service center.
