Qualifications

• 1 year of verifiable heavy-duty maintenance experience or entry-level technician role.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to perform safety inspections and document them.
• Basic computer skills.
• Available for days, evenings, nights, weekends.
• Brake inspection qualified per FMCSA regulations.
• Vehicle inspection qualified per FMCSA regulations.
• Basic hand tools required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on trailing equipment per schedules.
• Inspect and service trailers, including undercarriage areas.
• Repair or rebuild equipment systems.
• Comply with DOT, EPA, OSHA and safety rules.
• Maintain proficiency with equipment and technologies.
• Move trailers on-site and operate a hostler.
• Enter service times and parts on repair orders.
• Use specialized tooling and vehicles.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Coordinate with operations and shop management.
